Review photographs from iNaturalist observations and record visible flower-color characteristics. Your annotations contribute to scientific research. Each observation is shown once per browser.
For each observation, you will record:
- Whether a flower is visible
- Whether a pollinator is visible
- The majority flower color
- The second most prominent color, if present
- Whether spots or other markings are visible
Five questions per observation

Before you begin
Let's practice first.
You'll go through three example observations. Keep in mind, each observation may include multiple photos. After each answer, you'll see whether you got it right before moving on to the real quiz.
People often perceive color a little differently from one another. Please don't worry about being "wrong." This practice round is to help you get comfortable with how the quiz works and provide some pointers.
